Once again, Jack and his team have done an excellent job trimming two large hedges in the rear garden. They also completely removed a dead hedge at the front drive including the hedge stumps. It was my first time availing of a hedge cutting service. Jack dropped by to do an assessment and was very polite and informative. He told me what will be done and that everything will be cleaned up. They are very honest with pricing; I always get multiple quotes, and another contractor offered the same service for £100 more. They pruned a 5-meter Japanese cherry tree that hadn't been pruned in over ten years, removing dead branches, reshaping, and balancing it. They were confident and skilled throughout the process.

We asked Jack to reduce the height of a rowan tree in the back garden, remove a few sycamore branches that were overhanging a neighbours garden and reduce the height of a privet hedge at the end of the garden.

We called them a few weeks ago for a quote, they were quick to come out and sent us a very competitive quote to cut back trees behind our house overhanging our boundary. Elms Tree Services did a great job tidying up all the overgrown bushes and plants in our garden and cleaned up all the debris afterwards. I am very pleased with the work they did and the price seemed reasonable considering the work involved. I would recommend them highly.

After looking online at several companies I called ETS, within 3hrs Jack came over to assess the garden and advised me on the job in hand and also said he would remove an obstructive over grown medium sized tree that was hindering my future plans.
He emailed me a quote later the same day that was very reasonable and I returned an email agreeing to the quote and made arrangements for the start date which was all in good time.
On meeting Jack I was confident from the start, he was professional, polite and has since done a great job cutting back and halving the size of the very large conifer trees that run the length of my garden along with the removal of the obstructive tree, the space created is fabulous, I'm delighted.

Elm Tree services came to take down a very large eucalyptus tree and a smaller lilac tree in my back garden. The team worked efficiently, and diligently throughout the day. Very happy with the service carried out by the team to remove a Hawthorn tree that was dying, grind out the stump, and to cut back an overgrown conifer. Quotation received on same day that Jack came to assess the work and carried out within 2 days. By far the most reasonable quotation that we received out of the 4 companies we approached. They even took some old garden cuttings that we had not been able to take to the tip and which were too big to put in our garden waste bin, which i was really grateful for. Just wanted to update my review 09.23

Once we had finally got a chance to work on the garden in order to landscape the space we were working with, we discovered a couple of stumps that were hidden amongst the soil & dirt. Months later I contacted Jack asking if he could come and grind out those stumps as we needed this before putting slabs down. Jack & his team were prompt and returned to finish grinding out what was left of the stumps, they also helped with removing our washing machine and putting it back as it was in the way of the stump grinder when passing through the property. Didn’t know this Co. and hadn’t had any recommendations from others, I mostly used them because they were local. However we were so pleased we did. They were prompt, efficient, highly professional and safety conscious! I had a number of very tall conifers that needed removing, in a very confined location, fully two days work for a gang of four. We had an overgrown garden with six trees to be removed. One of the trees was a very tall conifer - about 40-45 feet I think - which was about 6 feet from the house and next to the garden fence. It took two full days (plus a couple of hours on the third day) to take them all down. Jack and his team arrived promptly on the day they were booked and worked flat out without any fuss for the two days. Everything cleaned up afterwards. No damage to anything - even the fence. We asked for stump grinding as well and I was really impressed how well this worked. Our neighbours have already contacted Jack to arrange for a tree to be removed in their garden. Overall, very impressed, price was very reasonable and would use ETS again - which is unlikely as we don't have any trees left! Will recommend to anyone who needs a similar service.

Elm Tree Services removed a row of conifer trees, additional stumps and garden debris and we were really pleased with their service. The price was very fair, they were polite, punctual, worked hard and cleared up afterwards. We would highly recommend this company.

The guys arrived when they said they would, trees were down in no time and the place was left very tidy afterwards.

I can echo all the the other positive reviews, everything about their service was excellent. Incredibly professional from start to finish. Very responsive and quick to provide advice and a quote. This proved to be very important as Jack spotted that the tree had a huge amount of rot so potentially very dangerous. Due to this, Jack and the team were back the next day and expertly removed the tree and all rotten debris from the garden, whilst leaving the useful logs for the wood burner. The whole team were hugely helpful and considerate. All waste had to be carried through the house as we have no side passage and I noticed that they carefully checked and prepared the path through the house to ensure that no damage occurred. We are very grateful for their service and I'm sure we will be calling on their services again in the future.
